An ugly hole in my ceiling. Bam.
It was mostly a typical day. Meetings, more meetings, content management… Where it differed was that I took a break in the middle to go pick out my wedding cake! Such a fun break!
When given an option, the answer will almost always be to snuggle. I’m totally a snuggler. Dan’s shoulder surgery/recovery has kind of put a crimp in that particular style of mine, but it’ll get better!
The first time this morning, it was with a great urgency. My white cat decided he wanted to cuddle and commenced kneading my bladder.
Right now? A hotel. A cushy one. With a butler and turn-down service. And a minibar. A big one. Free of charge.
This week, it’s been Klondike bars. Today especially. My co-worker Cleve gave me one that I delicately unwrapped right around 4:30 p.m., when I was about ready to stab myself in the eye. Our photo editor, Tom Spain, made comment to check out the expression on my face: pure heaven.
