After a rocky Week 3, I made it up to myself and found my motivation again. And it paid off. I lost about 7.5lbs. I know that’s a lot for one week, but that’s not entirely abnormal for the beginning of a weight loss journey. So yay me!
Terrible Twos. Three-nager. Everyone says those words. Everyone gives a little giggle, or a nod of understanding. But do they really understand? I mean, really?
So food/nutrition is probably the thing I get most hung up about. I don’t have any strict rules per se, I do try to stick to the menu I get from Gerber (which means they get plenty of cash from us). But they’ve tasted sugar and they are getting fun, multicolored cakes for their birthday […]
A Pinterest-perfect first birthday party. Silly me. I thought I could just sort float through their first couple of birthdays because A) they aren’t going to remember anything, and B) they don’t have friends yet. To try to relax, at least a little bit. No one is lying when they say buying a house is one of the most stressful things you will do. I have stressed to point of making myself sick ever since we started this journey. And it only gets worse the farther along we get. We […]
There’s this $37K piece of paper called my degree… If you’re talking actual monetary value of one single thing, it’s my car. If you’re talking sentimental value, then there are several things I would be heartbroken over. The earrings my dad gave me for my 16th birthday. The Bible that belonged to my great-grandfather. My […]
